Safe-T-Manager – Safety Management System
Safe-T-Manager is a dedicated Health & Safety Management System Module. This module could be used as a standalone Safety Management System but we don’t like anything standalone so it integrates completely with the rest of the FlexMMS framework. Safety is one thing every company has in common and some of the best companies out there understand the importance of safety. Safe-T-Manager is a new approach to a Safety Management System which boasts easy of use and increased productivity at its main core.
Check out some of the RFID technology we are using to reduce the amount of paperwork required in Safety Management Systems.
The Safety Management System module is broken up into a few small modules for easy management. The modules are:
Safety Inspections
Weekly Inspections
Monthly inspections
Internal Audits
Incident Reporting
Training Management
General Training
Toolbox Talks
Orientations
Safety Management
Corrective Action Plan
Job Safety Analysis or Method Statement Documentment
Field Level Risk Assessment Log
External Audit Log
The above is designed to give you an idea of the items that are included in the Safety Management System Module, but the above list is not an exhaustive list either. We outline the main purpose of each of the modules. More information on each of the modules is available on request.
Safety Inspections
Our inspection module is broken down into 3 parts, but each functions on a high level in the same way. For each type of inspection, the system will present the questions relevant to the type of inspection being carried out, depending on the answers submitted by the employee, the system will calculate an inspection score, and generate an inspection PDF document which can be automatically e-mailed if required.
Each inspection is tracked and feeds results into various other modules in the system. The most relevant being the Corrective Action Plan so issues identified in an inspection go in the plan to be addressed.
Both inspection checklists are configurable by the HSE Manager to suit their environment. Monthly inspections can be configured to suit multiple legislative requirements. For example if a company operates in two countries with different legislation. The HSE Manager can configure which sections are relevant to that particular project and only items relevant will be processed on the inspection.
This allows the system to operate across international borders while following the same process.
All inspections generate a final Safety Inspection Score (SIS) as a percentage so a projects progress can be measured and quantified.
All weekly and monthly inspections are graphed in a dashboard format to instantly inform how a project is progressing.
Incident Reporting
Incident Reporting is a complete online management system for incident. HSE officers can create an incident report for their project. As soon as the incident report is created, it alerts the HSE Manager that an incident has occurred on a project. The HSE Officer can fill out all the details of the incident online, including uploading photo’s of where the incident occurred and witness statements from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Incident Reporting Module is a simple to use point and click module however all elements of the incident report can be customised by the HSE Manager to suit the organisations existing reporting requirements.
The Incident Reporting module tracks all incidents from the moment the incident occurred through the reporting process, and managing the employees recovery right up to when they return to work.
Training
Training Manger keeps track of all training courses for all projects. The Training Officer can create a new course for any time in the future, select the module from the list of training modules and select the project and the employees attending the course.
FlexMMS tracks all stages of the cycle from scheduling the training session, notifying employees that are due to attend, generating attendance lists. When the course is finished the system confirms with the training officer who completed the course and the system completes the rest of the process, upload course certificates if relevant, and adding the course details and expiry time to each employees own personal training record.
The system operates similarly for Toolbox Talks and Orientation.
Safety Management
Every company manages safety in slightly different ways, so the standard safety management elements of Corrective Action Management, document and policy management and revision control, logging certain events etc are handled by the Safety Management module. However all modules can be extended, if you need something that’s not there the system can be extended to suit your purpose.
